Bringing back the poet in me
I have again rediscovered how much fun writing and reading poetry can be. If you have been to my online haunts page, you know that I like to go to http://allpoetry.com. I am a member there as LunaEtoile. You have to be registered to see most of my poems as they are in the adult section. I’ve spent much of the past 3 days there, reading other people’s works, commenting on poems and adding a few of mine for contests and personal appraisal. I’d encourage you, if you are a writer to check it out.
Here’s the last poem I wrote, last night. It had a Picture Inspiration it had to be based on. The picture is also here for you to get the entire view:

Sunset Battle
© luna 2005
Bronze-hued sun sinks into night
when foe against foe line up
for a velvet draped fight.
No champions remain of this death cup
as the weak and fear-soaked lines
shiver for survival like a wolf’s pup.
In the distance, yet not far
they see the enemy rage forward;
Background sun lit like a cigar.
Bravery will be tonight’s star
on the sand strewn boulevard
as dust becomes blood marred.
Beauty killed by human anger;
Rights and truths of one
Forced down the throats of another.
With their own hatred begun,
A dusk not ending well, rather
Beliefs and values undone.
Master and I have two munches to attend this weekend and I’m excited. On Saturday there is a picnic for CROP where I hope to sell some of my floggers. I’m bringing about 400 dollars worth of merchandise. Sunday morning is the Riverbound munch. We will be carpooling as a group with CROP. I’ve never been to the Riverbound group so this will be a bit nervous. They have a topic for discussion: BDSM and the law. I’ll let ya know what comes up in discussion when I get back.
Just a side note, today is my ex husband’s and my wedding anniversary and I think I’m surviving quite well. Yesterday was NOT a good day and I want to take this time to thank Master for his compassion and feigned understanding. I love him so much for it.
