Question by Anonymous: Are you allowed to say no to something?
It’s more than am I allowed to say no, I have a right to say no. I can say no at any time and stop whatever is happening. He also respects that there are times I just don’t feel like doing something and that also is reflected as a no.
Ultimately, a submissive has the power in a D/s relationship. The Dominant molds to the submissives limits and the submissive has the final say on something. The balance that is held in good relationships is that there never has to be a solid ‘no’. It is already known what I will and won’t do. He respects me as much as I respect him.
In Master/slave households there is a firmer set of rules and no may not be an option. The difference there is the thought that the Master knows what is best for the slave and that is the final ruling. Not my cup of tea, but I know it exists.
So to answer your question, yes, I say no and it is complied with. It may be questioned to know my reason behind the no, but it is upheld nonetheless.
