BDSM is Love

Well, as you read in the last post, there is a decent percentage of people in the US that participate in an alternative sexual expression. It is one that is widely stereotyped by abusers, murders and serial rapists. These actions are not BDSM, they are violence. You will learn today what BDSM really is, why people choose this lifestyle and the mantras, missions and beliefs I have about the lifestyle. You will also read my attempts at discussing the myths of BDSM.

I feel that if we don’t support the organizations that are out there helping us, then what is the point in feeling the way we do. If you support Freedom of choice and yet don’t support those organizations out there fighting for that, where does that place you in activism? Yes, that’s right Mannequinism. If you haven’t heard the phrase, go to Fight Mannequinism.org. We are all in this Blogathon together, supporting our charities as we can. We are active and involved. Let’s keep it going by not letting the Blogathon be the only thing you do for your charity of choice this year. Become a member, read up and follow the papers, and support those that need it.

I believe strongly in what the NCSF is doing for me and my friends in the community. I support them by being in a group that is a coalition partner and am a member via my group. The main group I am active in is CROP - Cedar Rapids Organization of Perverts. I am also member of WHIP, DADG, Riverbound, and Deviant Desires here in Iowa.
