This Christmas Feeling

05xm5.pngGrinch syndrome. I have it bad.  It started when I didn’t even want to put up a Christmas tree or dig out any decorations. Then I really wasn’t in the mood to make cookies, but I really wanted the snacks so that won out. I didn’t send Christmas cards and I’m not ho ho happy.

I’m also fighting the sexual desire funk. I’m just not physically horny. I love the idea of sex and porn is great to watch, but I just don’t get hot and bothered. I don’t know why but soon I should be ready to explode with sexual energy. It’s sort of like a volcanic eruption for me. I’m at the calm before the storm, the buildup of pressure is going to be so immense that I might exhaust Master all in one go. (Which will be near on impossible, I might add.)

I think I’ve done some damage to my left wrist… I’m beginning to wonder if I’ve developed a repetitive motion injury for all the time I spend typing at my computer at work and at home. Generally I start my day out fresh but by the time lunch comes around my wrist aches, it grows to affect my fingers and it tingles up my arm. I know this isn’t good but I am doing to wait till after the new year before I find a doctor to tell me what I already suspect. The way I’ve been holding my hands when typing at work is not right. At home I have a high enough rest that my wrists don’t hurt. Ah well.

  1. My wrist gets the same way I attribute my pain to working always behind a keyboard and mouse. What works well for my is take run a bath then let my arms and hands float in the warm water, ofcourse nothing beats a good old fashoin pain killer. Hope your wrists start feeling better!!

Thank you for the suggestion. I also love to just have it rubbed gently and Master is great with the nursing care he’s been giving me.

He’s hoping it is better soon because he doesn’t want to tie me up with my wrist still out of commission.

  2. My mother has worn a wrist brace for when she has carpal tunnel. Just thought I’d throw it out as a suggestion. :) I hope it feels better

Thanks Morwin, I have a wrist brace too and I keep it handy if I know I’m going to be at the computer for any length of time. This way I can limit the pain I’m in.
