Stats and a Rack
I’m a stats whore. I love checking my stats almost 3 times a day (maybe more). I’ve watched my stats fall quite drastically since January. I’m not sure what has changed in my writing to cause it, but I know that I have a regular following and I have readers and commenters that I love. When I begin to see the stats fall I have 2 questions.
- Is what I’m writing about not interesting anymore? I know that I don’t post a lot of pictures of myself in compromising positions, I don’t write about the sex and play that Master and I have very often and I try to keep rants and extreme opinions from this blog. Why? Because that isn’t the purpose.
- Am I reaching everyone that I can? I know what I blog about is just a story of one submissive learning her way. I also know that I am not the only one with the specific challenges I face. Then again, is it that people are reading me through email or RSS feeds instead of coming here. That would show a decrease in the stats as well.
Who knows. I know that the focus of this blog is not to bring in readers, even if I love the attention. It’s to try and sort through my thoughts, experiences and struggles so that I can become the best submissive for my Master that I can possibly be.
Oh, I got tied up this weekend! Master wanted a picture for our new bondage website in the works. Here it is!
What do you think? I love it. Now this one was done with flash which is why I look like I’m glowing, but it gives the rope the detail that I liked to show off. Master is great and he knows what will compliment my body.

One possible reason your stats might drop…I read you using Google Reader. A couple days ago I realized that I hadn’t gotten any of your posts for a couple weeks. I think your RSS feed much have changed, so I grabbed the new URL off of your website, and now I’m back! Maybe others have had the same problem?

Suggestion:
Maybe…For girls that cannot orgasm from intercourse, how do you orgasm?
For the ‘dominate/alpha’ subs/slaves how do you get yourself into that slave frame of mind to be obiediant and not resist?
For the dominate types, How do you deal with your slave/sub when she is not being very slave like? Or ways to make her feel owned?

Aww, thank you everyone! I wasn’t whoring for comments, but they are quite nice! Yes, I noticed that when I updated WordPress to 2.5 the RSS URL changed and people had to get the new one. It is likely that people haven’t realized it yet and are missing my posts. Thanks to everyone who found me again

As far as the stats, i know the numbers can become quite seductive. i have been ordered not to look at them on more than one occasion as Master felt it reflected a focus on who might be reading rather than using the blog for the purpose he intended, which was organized communication with Him.
Also, He grew weary of hearing me complain about the number and length of the visits with no comments what so ever! So, i understand the thought process you might be going thru.
You have been a leader in the BDSM blogging world and were there to show the way to the many, many of us who are now out there sharing our journeys. i think that may have something to do with the numbers decreasing. So many are writing now that it is difficult to keep up with all the great writers available. i know i find my time limited, both by life and Master, for how many i am able to read regularly.
For what it’s worth, i love the new look and appreciate all you have done to pave the way for a freer approach to this thing we do!

Thank you so very much! I’ve never thought of myself as a leader in blogging, but I figure I’ve been around a long time compared to others. I’ve been around heh.
I’m trying not to focus on the numbers now, but the journey I have to talk about. I have a lot to think about, and as my life changes I have to record these changes.
I’m happy to know that others start blogging because of me! I just tell it like it is, I’m real and I hope that it helps.
