  1. I have always had a pretty light period with little to no cramping (although last month’s was a doozie!). So it usually doesn’t put much of a kink in our schedule… other than using a towel underneath, and a light shower being necessitated afterwards!

Of course, I can understand why with others it would be more of a concern!

  2. Until recently I was in a committed relationship with a man who didn’t mind playing while I was on my flow.  So we did.  Regularly.  (Seriously ladies, Pamprim has nothing on a good orgasm!)  That has changed recently, as has another little detail.
One:  I’m courting a diagnosis with PMDD, which means that instead of merely turning into a demon-spawned bitch for three days before my cycle starts, I go to a very dangerous mental health status.  This does not make for good foreplay, and means that I’m not really socially available for those three days.

Two:  The people who I am currently playing with are not close enough to me that I feel comfortable addressing that subject.  We scene, and sometimes we scene with some physical intimacy, but we have not crossed into having intercourse.  I feel that addressing the matter of my flow is appropriate at that time and not before.
As a result of this combination, I have about a 5 to 7 day period each month where I am abstaining from romantic/intimate involvements.  Le Sigh.

  4. One of my ex’s had mentioned having sex with girls on their period, which had never occurred to me before. I realize that I get rather horny during my time of the month and look forward to one day finding someone to try it out with :)

  5. As LP quaintly put it just this past weekend, “Well, you do have another hole…”  :)

LP and i are usually within a couple of days of each other but it only becomes an issue when we are actually together physically. The mechanics aren’t a big deal when the red flag is up, as you can see from her comment. For us it’s more about our moods.  The first day or two neither of us are remotely interested in sex usually. i at least am too busy feeling crampy and crabby and craving anything chocolate to feel the slightest hint of horniness. LP is pretty much the same minus the chocolate. But with our physical time together limited we don’t like to waste any of it. Neither of us have had to deal with really hard periods so we’ve been lucky. We haven’t really been at this long enough to have a set dynamic as far as our D/s realtionship, we’re still working on how our sexuality fits in with the more practical aspects. LP does show me a little extra TLC sometimes but just because i have my period doesn’t mean i am excused from my daily tasks and exercises and such.

  8. I’ve only done it once but am immensely looking forward to doing it again.  The guy I’m with now is the first one I’ve been comfortable broaching the subject with.  Even though I’m a domme, slight pain is erotic to me and since I don’t have bad cramps, it makes for rather delightful sensations.
